Some 40 of them were "made in the United States of America" and they were far more sophisticated and supplied far more knowledge to the people of the world than those of the Soviet Union. The Mariner spacecraft now on its way to Venus is the most intricate instrument in the history of space science. The accuracy of that shot is comparable to firing a missile from Cape Canaveral and dropping it in this stadium between the 40-yard lines. Transit satellites are helping our ships at sea to steer a safer course. Tiros satellites have given us unprecedented warnings of hurricanes and storms, and will do the same for forest fires and icebergs. We have had our failures, but so have others, even if they do not admit them. And they may be less public. To be sure, we are behind, and will be behind for some time in manned flight. But we do not intend to stay behind, and in this decade we shall make up and move ahead. The growth of our science and education will be enriched by new knowledge of our universe and environment, by new techniques of learning and mapping and observation, by new tools and computers for industry, medicine, the home as well as the school. Technical institutions, such as Rice, will reap the harvest of these gains."

Warren Commission Bullet Impact Tests Title at beginning: "233 JFK F117, F304, F305, F309".A series of slow-motion films of things being shot, produced apparently in conjunction with the Warren Commission on the Kennedy Assassination. Starts with what looks like a large gold block of gelatin suspended in water, two different takes of this being shot and reverberating around. At 52:45:03, box or container filled with red paint shot, explodes, paint everywhere. At 53:02:26, human skulls being shot, ghoulish and ghastly. Three different takes. At 54:03:01, a white goat, held into a metal frame with C-clamps and other restraints, is shot in the skull and killed instantly, though illogically, as this experiment proves absolutely nothing more than that bullets can kill with horrendous force; (this is shot at normal speed.) At 54:24:29, same sort of thing in slow-motion, another one at 55:00:14. Gore, Death, Murder.

A former campaign Press Secretary for HENRY WALLACE recalls coming to be involved with Wallace's Presidential campaign in 1947, ironic that his replacement at his newspaper job was Pierre Salinger who would be JFK's press secretary with more success. He discusses the campaign, a great experience with a good man [Wallace], even though he didn't expect to win and taking the position cost him his newspaper job. 11.07.10-Discusses HENRY WALLACE in praiseful terms for kindness and decency and intelligence. Says Wallace was uncomfortable connecting with the public and had problems in some of his appearances. Recalls WALLACE'S problems campaigning in the South, where Wallace's opposition to Segregation hurt him badly, including one speech in North Carolina where Wallace was pelted with rotten eggs, his fear for Wallace's life at some points during Southern campaign trip.
