1-1 B&W mag/sof 390' - George Wallace holds Boston news conference prior to his rally. Says his attitude has been distorted and claims he can take Massachusetts. Says he's not looking for the House to decide the election and that he'll get more votes from former Democrats. Says voters will be throwing their votes away by voting for Humphrey and others. Says he voted for JFK in 1960 as said he asked people to vote for him regardless of race, color or religion. Claims the prime issue of the campaign is law and order. (1968)
1-2 B&W mag/sof 200' - Boston rally for George Wallace who says he came to Massachusetts to win. Talks about law and order and anarchy. Says things are so bad that when someone hits you on the head, they're out of jail before you're out of the hospital. Claims we don t need a national police force for things that local police should be able to take care of. Says that when he's President he's going to remove every Communist from the defense plants. Applause. Wallace talks about this country revitalizing Europe after WWII, and that if Europe doesn't help us in Vietnam then we should cut off foreign aid and make them pay it back. Applause. At the end of the rally, Wallace holds us the victory sign, waves and leaves amid applause. Wallace PR man asks for donations as the audience leaves. (1968)
