Some 3,000 ROK troops disembark from landing craft in Vietnam to reinforce Korean soldiery already active in the war. The Korean fighters are welcomed by U.S. General Westmoreland. Three thousand Korean soldiers disembark from their landing craft. General William Westmoreland welcomes the soldiers. The Korean soldiers continue to troop ashore.
