12.01.30.- MS Miguel, a portly, sweaty Mexican-American man standing inside convention hall & speaking to camera: This film which you are about to see was produced in Reno during the conference on UFOs. This testimony (sic) you are about to hear are testimonies of people that have many contact or have seen UFOs. I hope that the general public will have a better understanding with this testimonies (sic).

12.02.06.- Interview w/Master Super Moonyer (sp) of Virginia City; wears light gray suit with a cut best described as clerical (as a matter of fact, he s of the religious profession); has piercing expressive eyes, and a thick shock of gray hair swept back from his long angular face; very clinical & dry fellow. Tells of his UFO sighting experience, when he and his fellow monks were on a retreat in Lake Tahoe; describes the saucer as a silvery shaped disk .

12.03.20.- Interview w/ Major Wayne S. Aho, U.S. Army Signal Corps Intelligence (retired); wears dark suit and tie, stern expression, receding black hair pushed from face. States he saw a UFO land on the Mojave Desert on May 11, 1957 and made contact with the ship; says he was “shown things of the future of this civilization”; says he was interviewed by the CIA regarding the incident and the several other times he witnessed UFOs; believes the US government knows more about UFOs that they let on and should make public all available info. Wayne believes that the Soviet Union government knows as much about UFOs as the US does.

12.04.59.- Interview w/ Lenore Kroft (sp) of Seattle, Washington; wears white angora stole, round earrings, short brown hair; articulate, attractive, well-mannered. Tells (rather convincingly) of a UFO sighting she had in Seattle. Says she made UFO contact, but would rather not discuss it “at this time”.

12.07.02.- Interview w/ Maryann Frans (sp), director of the Solar Light Center in Southern Oregon; small, sleepy, mousy lady with a soft voice and tight ever-drawn lips. She tells of the center’s purpose, to distribute the information coming to her “telepathically from the space people”. Says she has made telepathic contact with a myriad of alien races for eight years. Says that alien contact is “leading us into a new age and a new understanding because our planet stands at the brink of complete annihilation unless we have a great change in consciousness of the people”. Says that life exists within this solar system and within other outside it, that they are humanoids that are more spiritually, mentally, morally, physically evolved than us, that they live for hundreds of years and do not age like us earthbound humans. This lady’s too easy to debunk.

12.08.37.- Interview w/ Reverend Hal Anderson of Fullerton, California; short round man in a black suit and tie, short salt and pepper hair. Tells of UFO contact on February 14, 1960, Mojave Desert; says he was taken on board for 2 hrs and 20 mins and was privy to information of the UFOs composure; was told to give such info to Hermann Oberth (sp), a leading scientist in Hamburg, Germany; says he lectured & conferred with German scientists following the incident. Shows the camera a “martian jasper”, allegedly given to him by the aliens; says the crystal has been investigated and analyzed and judged to be not from this planet. Says that the aliens told him that what we refer to as a flying saucer is actually referred to in the Bible as a “wheel in the middle of a wheel”; he was given the craft’s “simple” propulsion secret (“a static electric magnetic field” that has a repelling effect on all outside matter). Says that the Martians have a life expectancy of 300-1500 yrs and have been visiting here for many years; that the Star of Bethlehem was one of their craft; that the Sphinx in Egypt is of Martian design; that two races initially inhabited the earth, “the race of Adam” and “the race of Eve”, the latter tempting the former to mate with animals... here’s a classic quote, “what we read in the Bible is true but it is all symbolic and we have never been told to interpret it properly”

12.12.54.- Interview w/ Hunno Mayberry (sp); teenaged wearing thick horn-rimmed glasses, light gray tweed suit, short-cropped brown hair. Tells of UFO sighting while camping in Selma, Oregon; describes the UFO (“three spears into a triangle”); says he made contact with one of the aliens, a female one at that, who was—and dig the old horn-dog grin he sports while telling this tall-tale—“about seven feet tall, with long flowing hair and ebony black skin—not a Negro black but a shiny ebony black.”.

12.14.02.- Interview w/ Chief Frank Buckshot Standing Horse, a full-blooded Ottawa Indian; older gentleman wearing full-feather war bonnet & other Indian accoutrements. Tells story of UFO contact on July 12, 1959, when he went for a ride on a flying saucer. Cam pans right to CU of drawing of alleged spacecraft, the good ship Vea-O-Mus from Oreon, a planet from “outside our galaxy:; Frank describes the craft’s facilities and the planets he passed while on the four day excursion. Tilt to CU Frank as he tells of the ship’s pilot, Mandra Oleeka, a “very beautiful woman… of 417 years… tall, dark complexion, beautiful blue eyes, well-shaped… certainly blessed with beauty.” Cam pans R to drawing of a Engarcar, a car-like vehicle powered by electro-magnetic energy that Frank witnessed while on Venus; Frank tells of the driver, who was from Nebraska and assumed the Frank was from there too because of his American Indian heritage (?!).

12.17.28.- An unnamed woman from England, who has come to the convention to share some of the songs she has acquired from the space people, talks to the cam for a bit before launching into a pop song best described as silly: “there’s a cockeyed feeling in the world today/ the power, the politics are here to stay/ the China, the Russia and the USA/ boy, don’t let them fool you… take a look at this world of ours/ just one mudball in a sea of stars/ oh, the planets got no color bars/ cause they’ve got perspective… Yanks and Russkies putting men in space/ but it’s all a mad politician’s race/ what up and shifted in this year’s race/ it makes you giggle… the population stands and stares/ while men in capsules explore upstairs/ why we can’t even manage our own affairs/ some cheap colonization… those flying saucers whisking through our skies/ must take some power to make them rise/ the government department just hides their eyes/ and call them meteors… with all the lies they print and shout/ the general public has its work cut out… I suppose you know why I’m telling you this/ so you won’t shriek or shake your fist/ when you discover Martians do exist/ they’re real nice fellas.”

12.19.50.- MS Daniel W. Fry, PhD, Cosmology (and this collection’s namesake), wearing a black suit and red tie. Pan R to Mary Wood, who alleges a UFO contact experience. Pan R to Sid Patrick, who claims to have been aboard a flying saucer; Sid is similarly dressed to Mr. Fry.

12.20.36.- MSs interview moderator—what with his crew cut, thick black glasses and pasty skin, he more that slightly resembles a certain ABC comedic impresario-- speaking to Dr. Daniel Fry about the possibility of flying saucer and extraterrestrial life. Dr. Fry discusses the “pessimistic” feelings among the scientific community towards such a subject. The moderator questions the degree to which said inhabitants of other planets have advanced technology; Dr. Fry says that the earth developed later than other planets in this galaxy and that any other planets would be far more advanced. The moderator questions whether we have been visited or not; Dr. Fry discusses the assumption “there must have been in a central portion of this galaxy at least 10000 planets… intelligent life began travel in space 2 million years ago…” He then launches into a mathematical theory discussing the volume and propensity of such, ending with the statement that “at least 10000 of these craft must have passed this planet earth since the birth of Christ”.

12.25.35.- MSs moderator speaking to Mary Wood about her alien contact. He asks her if there was any preparation involved in conducting the contact experience (i.e. holding hands, being in darkened room); Mary says that three people together in harmony was the best bet; they then meditated. Image and sound cuts off at 12.27.30.00

12.27.45.- Repeat of above, only longer, more detailed, uninterrupted. Mary speaks of the message of harmony she received from the aliens… yet another Utopian idealism, or longing thereof.

12.31.14.- the moderator introduces Sid Patrick, who alleges he’s been aboard an alien space craft. CUs drawings of said spacecraft and the green bean-shaped navigation ship that controlled it. Cut to Sid showing a chart depicting the layout of the spacecraft. Sid then shows an illustration of the “alien” who showed him around and gives a description that is wholly unremarkable in that the “alien” takes the total guise of being human. Sid says that when asked where they were from, the aliens remarked that they were from a planet hiding behind another planet that scientists have already observed (???).

12.35.51.- the moderator asks Dr. Fry that if there is evidence of the existence of aliens then why have they yet to land at the White House and ask to see the President. Dr. Fry issues a long, admittedly analogous story about tribes on earth that are far less advanced than the rest of the world though they are but a few hundred miles from major hubs.

12.40.01.- the moderator asks Mr. Patrick if he asked the aliens where they were from (repeating info already addressed). Mr. Patrick says that he was given a message by the aliens that was to be passed onto Governor Brown. The moderator asks if the aliens know Gov. Brown or if he has been visited; Mr. Patrick says smilingly that he doesn’t know, but that he has made attempts at relaying the message with little to no success (surprise, surprise). Mr. Patrick says that as a result of his abduction he has a greater sense of spirituality, that he was brought closer to God.
